Praise be to Allah, we thank Him and seek His Help and His Forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of ourselves and our bad deeds. He whom Allah guides is truly guided, and he whom Allah leaves to stray, none can guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, who has no partner and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His Messenger

 

Ramadan Duas

 

Fasting (Sehri) Dua 1

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Bismillah

In the name of Allah

 

 

Fasting (Sehri) Dua 2

وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ

Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan

I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan

 

 

Breaking Fast (Iftar) Dua 1

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ

Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa ala rizq-ika-aftartu

O, Allah! For You, I have fasted and upon your provision, I have broken my fast.

Abu Dawud: 2358

 

 

Breaking Fast (Iftar) Dua 2

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Dhahaba al-zama’ wa abtalat al-‘urooq wa thabata al-ajr in sha Allaah

Thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is certain if Allaah wills.

Abu Dawud: 2357

 

 

Dua for Someone Who Provides You Iftar

أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ

Aftara ‘indakumus-saimun, wa akala ta’amakumul-abrar, wa sallat ‘alaikumul- mala’ikah

May the fasting (men) break their fast with you, and the pious eat your food, and the angels pray for blessing on you

Ibn Majah: 1747

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغيثُ

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum bi rehmatika astaghees

Oh Everliving, The Everlasting, I seek Your help through Your mercy.

 

 

Ramadan Second Ashra Dua

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّی مِنْ کُلِّ زَنْبٍ وَّ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ

Astagfirullaha rab-bi min kulli zambiyon wa-atoobuilaiyh

I seek forgiveness from Allah for all my sins and turn to Him.

 

 

Ramadan Third Ashra Dua

اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Allahumma Ajirni minan naar

O Allah, save me from the fire (Jahannam).

 

 

Laylatul Qadr Dua

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Allahumma innaka Afuwwun [Karimun ] tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee

O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me
