آخرتم کس بنیاد پر گواہی دے رہے ہو؟
امام زہری عمارہ بن خزیمہ انصاری کے حوالے سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک اعرابی (بدو) سے گھوڑاخریدا اور اس سے جلدی چلنے کو کہا تا کہ آپ گھر پہنچ کر اس کی قیمت ادا کر دیں۔ پھر نبی کریم ﷺ جلدی جلدی آگے بڑھ گئے جبکہ بد و پیچھے رہ گیا۔ راستے میں لوگ بدو کے پاس آتے اور اس کےگھوڑے کی قیمت لگاتے ۔ انھیں معلوم نہیں تھا کہ رسول اکرم ﷺ نے یہ گھوڑا خرید لیا ہے۔ ایک آدمی نے گھوڑے کی قیمت رسول اکرمﷺ کی لگائی ہوئی قیمت سے زیادہ لگائی، چنانچہ بدو نے زور سے چلا کر رسول اکرم ﷺ کو آواز دی اور کہا
”إن كنت مبتاعا هذا الفرس فابتعه وإلا بعتہ”
“اگر آپ کو یہ گھوڑا خریدنا ہے تو خرید لیں ورنہ میں اسے دوسرے کے ہاتھ بیچ دوں گا۔”
نبی کریمﷺ نے فرمایا
أوليس قد ابتعته منك؟
کیا میں نے تجھ سے گھوڑاخر ید نہیں لیا ہے”؟”
اعرابی نے کہا: نہیں نہیں، ابھی بیع مکمل نہیں ہوئی ہے۔
پھر اعرابی اور رسول اکرمﷺ کے درمیان بحث ہونے لگی۔ یہ دیکھ کر لوگ ان کے پاس اکٹھے ہو گئے ۔ اعرابی کہنے لگا
هلم شهيدا يشهد أني قد بایعتك؟
آپ اس بات پر کوئی گواہ پیش کریں کہ واقعی میں نے آپ کے ہاتھ اپنا گھوڑ ابیچ دیا ہے”۔”
جو مسلمان بھی ان کی گفتگوسن کر وہاں آتا وہ بدو سے کہتا : تیرا ناس ہوا کیوں ضد کرتا ہے اور رسول اکرمﷺ کے ساتھ بحث ومباحثہ کر رہا ہے، کیا رسول اکرم ﷺحق کے خلاف بھی کوئی بات کریں گے؟! اسی دوران حضرت خزیمہ بن ثابت وہاں آن پہنچے۔ جب انھوں نے رسول اکرم ﷺ اور اعرابی کے درمیان بحث اور بدوکا یہ قول سنا کہ “آپ اس بات پر کوئی گواہ پیش کریں کہ واقعی میں نے آپ کے ہاتھ اپنا گھوڑا بیچ دیا ہے؟” تو وہ کہنے لگے
أنا أشهد أنك قد بايعته
“میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ یقینا تو نے اپنا گھوڑا رسول اکرم ﷺ کے ہاتھ فروخت کر دیا ہے؟”
یہ سننا تھا کہ رسول اکرم ﷺ حضرت خزیمہ کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور پوچھا آخر تم کس بنیاد پر گواہی دے رہے ہو (جب کہ گھوڑے کی خرید وفروخت کے وقت تم ہمارے پاس موجود نہ تھے)
خزیمہ بن ثابت نے عرض کیا
بتصدیقک یارسول الله
اے اللہ کے رسولﷺ! آپ کی تصدیق کی بنیاد پر میں نے یہ گواہی دی ہے۔
فجعل رسول الله شهادة خزیمتہ بشهادة رجلين
چنانچہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت خزیمہ بن ثابت کی گواہی کو دو آدمیوں کی گواہی کے برابر قرار دیا۔
ایک دوسری روایت میں آیا ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺنے خزیمہ بن ثابت سے دریافت فرمایا
لم تشهد ولم تكن معنا؟
آخرتم کس بنیاد پر گواہی دےرہے ہو جبکہ تم ہمارے ساتھ نہیں تھے؟
خزیمہ بن ثابت نے عرض کیا۔
یارسول الله ! أنا أصدقك بخبر السماء افلا أصدقك بما تقول؟
اے اللہ کے رسولﷺ! آپ جب آسمان کی خبریں (وحی) سناتے ہیں تو میں آپ کی تصدیق کرتا ہوں، پھر کیا میں آپ کے قول کی تصدیق نہیں کروں گا؟ان کے کہنے کا مطلب یہ تھا کہ عرش پر مستوی بلند و بالا ہستی جب فرش پر مقیم سرور کائنات کے پاس اپنے خصوصی نمائندہ حضرت جبریل کے ذریعہ سے کوئی وحی بھیجتی ہے جس میں ماضی کی تاریخ اور مستقبل کی پیش گوئیاں ہوتی ہیں، تو ہم (صحابہ کرام ) بلاچون وچرا قبول کر لیتے ہیں اور آپ کی تصدیق کر کے پوری بات من وعن تسلیم کر لیتے ہیں تو پھر کیا وجہ ہے کہ اس خرید وفروخت میں ،میں آپ ﷺکے قول کی تصدیق نہ کروں؟
