بڑے دریا میں کوئی پھینکے پتھر
کبھی گدلا نہ ہو گا اس کا پانی
نہیں آتے یونہی غصے میں درویش
یہ ہے ان پر خدا کی مہربانی
وضاحت
حضرت سعدیؒ نے اس حکایت میں اپنی اصلاح اور معاشرے کی اصلاح کا وہ بہترین طریقہ بیان کیا ہے جو ابتدائے آفرینش سے رسولوں اور نبیوں کا دستور رہا ہے۔ یعنی غصے پر قابو پانا اور انتقام لینے کی قدرت رکھتے ہوئے بھی دشمن کو معاف کر دینا۔ یہاں یہ بات بطور خاص سمجھنے کے قابل ہے کہ سعدیؒ جب لفظ درویش استعمال کرتے ہیں تو اس سے ان کی مراد مومن کامل ہوتی ہے تارک الدنیا خانقاہ نشین نہیں۔ یہ اسی لفظ کا بگڑا ہوا مفہوم ہے۔
